A Sense of Condemnation – The Root of All Emotional Pain

First, let’s define “Sense of Condemnation” as I’m using the words.  I’d say it means this:  A sense that I’m not good enough.  There are infinite different types of this “sense of condemnation” we experience.  But, you know you have a sense of condemnation anytime you feel sad because you think you’re not “good enough”

God says that, “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”.  So, when we are in emotional pain, we can search inside for the thoughts/beliefs that are making us feel that way.  Then, when found, we can correct those thoughts/beliefs by meditating on the Truth, “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ” Now, do you believe that or not?  If you don’t believe it, you should figure out on what basis you disbelieve it.  Get some help from a more advanced Christian if needed. But, by all means, work on correcting your unbelief on this matter.  To the extent you can believe it, you can replace your emotional pain with peace/joy.
